A small street shop in Jalgaon, a banana city of Maharashtra became popular day by day for its ready spices. The taste added by its spices to the food was real khandeshi Taste which is geographical indicator of Maharashtra since 1984. When shop owner required their own manufacturing unit to fulfill the demand, it was first compliment for Khandeshi Masala.

The demand and popularity of KHANDESHI MASALA started spreading in Maharashtra. To cope up with the demand and with a professional approach in 2010, one private limited company was established in the name of “Shanti Spices Pvt. Ltd”. Quality, Tradition, Nutrition and Safety are our founding pillars right from the beginning which helped to reach us at current position. We will continue to follow these principles.

Later in 2015 again need to separate the production and sales unit for better service and quality management, Ambika Foods (an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization) is now a production division of Khandeshi masala while Shanti Spices Pvt. Ltd. is managing sales and distribution network in India with around 700+ Dealers & 50+ Trained Sales Officers.

Facilities & Process

Ambika foods is very keen in keeping an eye on the process as it is the soul of the product. The integration of products with maintained taste is an Art. It requires the accurately measured ingredients and consistency of the process. Apart from the taste, hygiene is the key factor. The Automation is the solution for it. Now all our production centers are equipped with automated machineries. Our automation process contains blower cleaning machines, magnetic detectors, screw conveyer, heavy duty grinding and sieving units. This automation is involved right from cleaning of the raw material till the final product. It helps us to produce the finished goods with minimum intact of human to avoid contaminations.

A very good and safe environment is provided to workman of Ambika Foods, equipped with safety measures and maintained a Good Manufacturing Practices with the guidelines of Food safety experts.
